About IOU

In brief

My name is Ali, I'm a student and thought that there had to be a better way to manage our house finances than leaving notes on the fridge. IOU is my attempt to solve the problem, allowing you to keep track of things like paying the gas bill, or for a housemate's taxi ride.

When you add a transaction, IOU does some nice simple maths (thankfully!) and works out how much you need to pay each housemate.

Your opinion matters

And not in the cliched, corporate way...

If you have an idea, and think it would be a good addition to IOU, I'd love to hear it. If it is a good enough idea and I can get some time to set it up, there is a good chance it will appear on IOU, so everyone can use it and get the benefit of it.

I am trying to keep IOU as user-centric as I can. Afterall, it is you who are the people using it! But for this to happen I need to hear what you think and what you would like to add/change.
